How to Fuel with Hammer for Sufferfest.

Perpetuem (please read information on this product). This is a very simple fuel which is a 1 stop choice (no other nutrition is required)
– Have 2 bottle on your bike 1 for Nutrition 1 for Hydration (water)
– This will ensure that you don’t get confused.
– Mix a 3 hour bottle – i.e. 3-4 scoops (amount depends on body weight)
– Drink 1/3 bottle per hour.
– Also consume 600 – 800 ml water per hour
– Plus 1-3 Endurolytes per hour (see below)
2nd Choice
– Hammer Gels 2 / hour
– Or HEED approx. 2 scoop / hour.
– Or 1 Scoop of HEED and 1 Hammer Gel / Hour.
– Plus 1-3 Endurolytes / hour
Run Leg
– Hammer Gels 2 per hour

– Plus 1-3 Endurolytes / hour
Electrolytes (Cramp Insurance)
We view these as an athlete’s insurance policy (some will need them and others won’t). Electrolytes to the body are like oil is to a car. When the oil runs low the car seizes up. The same will happen to the body.
Hammer has 2 sources of Electrolyte replacement. Endurolytes (capsules) and Endurolytes FIZZ (dissolvable tablets) our preference is Endurolytes (capsules) as they don’t have to be mixed with water and the dosage can be increased/decreased easily.
TIP – You have to be consistent with consumption every hour as electrolytes are not stored in the body. If you would like to know more on Electrolytes please read this.
