How did you get into the sport?
I started this running journey to become quicker at obstacle course racing. During that training, I decided to run a 45km trail loop around my town for fun, and got hooked and haven’t looked back.
Hardest thing about your sport?
Choosing what races to put on the calendar. We have so many awesome races around, and you want to do them all.
What does your regular training week consist of?
Depending on what race I’m training for, and where I’m at in my block, but
On average
5 – 6 days, 8 – 10 hr running week
Mixture of speedwork, hill sessions, fartlek, strides, intervals and Saturday long runs.
How do you keep motivated?
Wanting to be better than yesterday and inspire others.
Goals (Future Plans and Career Expectations)
Sydney BYU April 2026 – Chasing down 45 laps.
Hume and Hovell, October 2026, 22km or 50km ( Depending on what my long run is in my block for Uta )
UTA Kosciuszko 100km Nov 2026
I’ve also got some long-distance running challenges I would love to attempt early in 2027, just need to work out the logistics and timing.
What’s your best piece of advice?
Run your own race.
