Sporting Accomplishment: Japanese national long course champion 2013, multiple IM podium, 3rd outright IM Malaysia, 5th challenge Wanaka, 4th IM Arizona.
How did you get into your sport: When I was at high school I was involved in Running and SLSC, then decided to take the sport of triathlon up.
Hardest thing about your sport: Training in winter, and the costs involved.
What does your regular training week consists of: swimming – 5 sessions, Bike 3-4 sessions, Run 4-5 sessions, 1 gym and 1 yoga session.
How do you keep motivated: Small goals are a must, large goals get lost easily. Motivated by the feeling of being fit and healthy.
Goals (Future Plans and Career expectations): This year IM Hawaii. Next year, major goal – hopefully IM Australia.
Best piece of advice you have been given: The only thing you can control is your own actions, applies to all aspects of life pretty well I think.
