Shane Johnson, one of Australia’s leading Triathletes of the 90′s is on the comeback trail at 40 years old ! Being a former 1989 Australian Junior Champ and representing Australia at the Commonwealth Games, Shane is aiming for a 40 year old Age group record at Port Macquarie Ironman.
Shane raced briefly in 2004 and did the Ironman at Forster for the 1st time, finishing in 17th under 9 hours.
Shane works as a Police officer for Special Operations Unit in SA, which sees him working 50-60 hours per week. He also has a 2 children and a wife. So time is precious.
Hammer Nutrition will supporting Shane in his attempt in Port Macquarie Ironman.
